8 Degrees Plato

UX/UI

Working at a digital agency, we had the opportunity to create a website for a local retailer, 8 Degrees Plato. They had two locations, including a new spot in Detroit that featured a bar. Our challenge was to create new site that not only captured their brand, but was able to keep a real time inventory based on both of their locations. Developing the user experience for the site took the shape of understanding their existing business needs, as well as the future wants within their new location. I chose a modular design to allow the content to be featured and with a focus on mobile presentation. From developing a site map and content strategy, to building wireframes, my approach was always user based. I was able to interview the owners, employees and customers to understand how they would use the site. It goes without saying that we also had to do some research on their inventory of beers.
